Recovery Officer - Ascentech Services Bachelor Degree Job

Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Loan Recovery Officer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for initiating recovery activities on delinquent accounts, negotiating repayment terms with clients, and maintaining proper recovery records in accordance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.


Key Responsibilities


Contact customers with overdue accounts to recover outstanding loan repayments.
Negotiate and establish structured repayment plans with defaulting clients.
Monitor and follow up on agreed repayment schedules to ensure compliance.
Issue demand notices and work with the legal department where necessary.
Escalate high-risk accounts for further recovery action or legal resolution.
Maintain detailed records of all interactions and recovery efforts.
Prepare periodic reports on recovery activities and portfolio status.
Ensure all recovery actions comply with internal procedures and financial regulations.


Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.


Requirements:


Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan recovery or debt collection
Solid understanding of loan management, financial regulations, and recovery processes.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
High level of integrity, persistence, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with CRM or loan management software is a plus.
