Job Responsibilities

Develop creative and engaging content ideas that align with the brand's overall strategy and goals.

Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to inform content development and optimization.

Create high-quality written, visual, and audio content across multiple platforms, including social media, blogs, websites, and podcasts.

Optimize content for search engines and user engagement, including keyword research and on-page optimization.

Track and analyze content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversions, and use data to inform future content strategy.

Manage and maintain content calendars and ensure timely and consistent delivery of content.

Continuously experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to drive innovation and engagement.

Conduct regular performance analyses and reports of the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy.

Setting smart goals for digital media campaigns.

Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency

Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of a B.Sc Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Social Media Manager.

Proven work experience as a Content Creator or similar role

Portfolio of published articles

Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)

Excellence in producing video content is an added advantage

Samples of content created with active links

Excellent writing and editing skills in English

An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces

Time-management skills

Familiarity with SEO and Social Media Algorithm

Close proximity to Lekki, Victoria Island, Yaba, Oworoshoki, Gbagada etc
