Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organized Logistics Officer to join our team and contribute to the efficient management of our delivery services.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistical aspects of our delivery operations. Experience in the field is optional, as the selected candidate will receive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor the entire delivery process, from order processing to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.

Collaborate with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries using our logistics management system.

Address any delivery issues, such as delays or discrepancies, promptly and effectively, implementing corrective measures as needed.

Support in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to enhance overall delivery operations.

Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status, address concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Assist in the recruitment, training, and management of delivery personnel, ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety standards.

Analyze delivery performance metrics and generate reports for management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Requirements

A Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.

A proactive mindset with problem-solving skills to address challenges in real-time.
