Job Summary:

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Editor to join our production team. You’ll be responsible for editing and enhancing audio content across our podcasts and other media projects, ensuring professional sound quality and consistency. Your work will directly shape the listening experience for audiences across our platforms, where storytelling, tone, and clarity are everything.

Core Responsibilities:

Edit and mix podcast episodes, interviews, and other recorded content for clear, balanced sound.

Remove background noise, interruptions, and filler words while maintaining a natural conversational flow.

Balance dialogue, music, and sound effects to achieve broadcast-level quality.

Add intros, outros, transitions, and effects to match brand identity.

Collaborate with producers, hosts, and video editors to ensure audio aligns with the visual narrative.

Ensure consistent loudness levels and proper formatting for multiple platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.).

Organize and archive project files systematically for easy access.

Stay up to date with current trends in podcast sound design and storytelling.

Skills:

Proficiency in Audition, Reaper, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or similar DAWs.

Strong understanding of EQ, compression, normalization, and audio mastering.

Keen ear for pacing, storytelling, and vocal tone.

Ability to clean and repair poor audio (noise reduction, clicks, reverb removal, etc.).

Familiarity with podcast distribution platforms and file formatting.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and meeting deadlines.

Creativity and flexibility to enhance stories through sound design.
