Transport Manager SSCE - OND / NCE Job

Location: Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa

Description

Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures

Analyzing transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Collaborating with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless transportation operations

Plan and coordinate the movement of goods, vehicles, and drivers

Create and manage transportation schedules

Monitor and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs

Negotiate transportation contracts with third-party providers

Manage and supervise drivers and other transport staff

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and laws

Continuously monitor and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Communicate with customers and other departments to coordinate deliveries

Monitor and evaluate the performance of vehicle maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in vehicle maintenance operations.

Collaborate with other departments, such as operations to ensure seamless coordination and efficient use of vehicles.
