Technician Secondary School (SSCE) Job

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of home appliances and other related products.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair appliances, including but not limited to Hobs, cookers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and washing machines.
Installation, maintenance and repair of small kitchen and laundry appliances
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with appliances, providing effective solutions.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate with customer service department to schedule service appointments and provide timely updates on repair status.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts inventory.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring they understand the proper use and maintenance of their appliances.
Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries and provide technical insights during the sales process.
Stay updated with the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during installations and repairs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in appliance repair is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician.
Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of electrical systems and components is a plus.
