How You’ll Make An Impact
This position will have a dual role, serving as a Country Managing Director and/or SR Business Development.
Oversight of all countries within the respective subregion, acting as the primary point of escalation from the countries; accountable to the Region Senior Vice President.
Development and implementation of the Regional Market Development plan and regional partner network strategy in the SR, as per the Region's directives.
Management of the overall Regional Country Management budget and focus on cost optimization in the SR, aligned with targets set by the Region.
Implementation of relevant Sales activities at different stages, as outlined by the Go-To-
Market and the Region, via the SR BD Head.
Proactive leadership and support for the Africa Region, serving as a role model and championing our values and transformation journey.
Acting as the primary representative of Siemens Energy in the SR, maintaining close proximity to customers, authorities, and other stakeholders & shareholders; coordination of internal stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for Siemens Energy.
Promotion, leadership, and facilitation of development and talent management in the SR.
Ensuring compliance with legal rules and regulations in the SR.
What You Bring
Accomplished and versatile senior industrial executive with extensive exposure across functions within a multinational corporation.
Demonstrated exceptional leadership and teamwork abilities, displaying versatility, creativity, agility, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Diverse work experiences within industries related to the energy industry.
In-depth understanding of the African and the SR Energy landscape and industry.
Advocate for change management and breaking down silos, embodying Siemens Energy's values and serving as a role model for key behaviours.
5+ years of direct experience in the energy, oil, gas, chemical, or petrochemicals industry within a consulting or engineering environment.
