Job Details
Develop and implement strategic plans for the facility that align with the annual goals. This includes space planning, utilization analysis, and long-term facility planning.
Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, security, cleanliness, and environmental health and safety. Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts with service providers, and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers. Ensure services provided meet contractual agreements and quality standards.
Optimize the use of space to meet current and future needs. This may involve overseeing office reconfigurations, expansions, or relocations.
Develop and implement plans for emergency response, operation continuity, and disaster recovery. Ensure facilities are prepared for various emergency scenarios.
Implement sustainable practices and initiatives to reduce the facility's environmental impact.
Identify and assess flood risks to the facility. Implement flood prevention measures, such as drainage systems, flood barriers, and emergency protocols. Regularly review and update flood management plans to ensure effectiveness.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to facility operations.
Participate in strategic planning discussions and provide expertise on facility-related matters.
Demonstrate the ability to think strategically in daily operations, making decisions that align with long-term goals and enhance overall facility performance.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in facility management, including risk management and emergency preparedness.
Strong understanding of flood risk management and mitigation strategies.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
Knowledge of building codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
Ability to think strategically during day-to-day operations.
Experience with church or non-profit communications.
