Sports Director HND / BA / BSc Job

Job Summary
The purpose of this classification is to assist in overseeing comprehensive sports, community, special events, and related programs, as well as supervise and assist coaches at Help The Talent Football Academy.
Essential Functions
The Sports Director is responsible for the following essential functions:

Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff, processing coaches’ concerns and problems, directing work, and making recommendations to the CEO.
Develop, plan, and evaluate sports programs, policies, procedures, and sites including sports, community special events, and related programs; assist with oversight of operations of HTT Academy centres, supervise facility preparation for special events; supervise leases and agreements with recreation groups and facilities; supervise program personnel and oversee work of contracted sports personnel
Prepare required reports for submission to the CEO
Ensure regular, punctual attendance of coaches during scheduled work hours
Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Training & Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for the position include:

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years’ related experience
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Ability to regularly solve difficult problems and occasionally solve complex problems.
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and to effectively supervise the work of others.
