Work Description

Skilled and compassionate Sonographer/ Imaging Tech personnel to join our dynamic radiology department.
You will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray, Ultrasound and other radiographic equipment.
You will play a crucial role in patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal images.
Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
Maintain patient records and imaging files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay current with developments in radiographic techniques and technology.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of imaging techniques.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
