Essential Job Functions
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of the collection site personnel safely and efficiently.
Work to optimize processing and production of incoming recyclable material on a multi-shift basis (subject to in-take volumes).
Maximize daily up-time, increase productivity, minimize waste losses, audit inbound and outbound materials, and produce finished products at quality levels acceptable to buyers.
Responsible for internal reporting, including but not limited to RM count, site inspections, downtime tracking, audit reports, etc.
Understand and monitor the general flow of recyclable materials through the ERP system.
Work in accordance and be well versed in local obligations that are required across the site.
Ensure the health and safety of all workers under direct and indirect supervision.
Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing site-specific inquiries and providing updates to management.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an OND, B.Eng or BSc qualification with at least 5 years work experience.
Technical Requirement:
Solid computer skills with proficiency in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and other ERP software
Required Knowledge And Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding and oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Strong understanding of SHE responsibilities in the workplace
Demonstrated experience in production environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain staffing levels at an appropriate level to minimise costs
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
