Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer and working in close collaboration with the Executive Team and other divisional leads, the Senior Vice President of Campus Services provides strategic development, leadership, administrative oversight and day-to-day management for all campus programs, and ensures that high-quality programming and services are provided that meet the physical, social, developmental and permanency planning needs of the children and families served by the program.

As a key member of the Executive Team, and working closely with other agency leaders, units and divisions, the SVP advances critical objectives for the campus, coordinate and collaborates closely with external stakeholders and cultivates JCCA’s relationship with community partners, local government and oversight entities. Using data-driven strategies, the SVP ensures that campus staff provide comprehensive high-quality services and are focused on achieving swift, safe and stable permanency for children and young people in care. The SVP comprehensively promotes innovation and creativity to solve problems, and spearheads exploration of new opportunities and partnerships to expand and/or diversify services for youth and families and promote agency growth.

Qualifications

  • Masters or above in Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, Law or other related field required;
  • 15+ years of successful experience in data-driven management in child welfare, juvenile justice and/or related fields, and experience in program evaluation and improvement;
  • Extensive successful experience in program management, day-to-day operations and management-level staff supervision;
  • Successful track record of translating, integrating and improving statistical fluency and competency for all levels of staff;
  • Considerable expertise cultivating and maintaining excellent external networks, partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders and partners, regulatory and oversight agencies;
  • Successful experience in establishing and maintaining strong, intra/interdivisional collateral collaborations;
  • Experience managing budget with multi-source revenue with time and effort requirements required;
  • Experience and technical proficiency with Electronic Health Records strongly desired;
  • Experience managing culture change in a workplace, i.e., substantial change in workflow processes (e.g., Managed Care transition) strongly desired;
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care strongly desired;
  • Experience in child welfare and juvenile justice strongly desired;
  • Extensive knowledge of Connections (CNNX), Promis, ARTS, and other New York City and State child welfare data systems strongly desired;

Compensation

$175,000 - $195,000 / year
