Senior Software Engineer - Cle Digital Services HND / BA / BSc Job

Location: Lagos, Hybrid (at least 3 times per week)

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who will play a key role in the software development team leading and working alongside engineers to build applications. '

You will be involved in all stages of the software development cycle working alongside other engineers, product managers, and software testers collaborating on the various elements of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Ensures applications are implemented using software engineering best practices

Responsible for product quality, security, and performance

Responsible for the stability and reliability of products

Ensures robust technical documentation

Experience and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field)

3+ years of relevant software development experience

Expert-level understanding of backend language: PHP/NodeJs, MySQL

Understanding of Web Framework CodeIgniter for PHP

Familiarity with HTML/CSS

Strong knowledge of at least one cloud hosting platform

Comfortable with at least one CI/CD tool

Experience in React or any other front-end JavaScript framework preferable

Experience leading a team of software engineers in an agile environment

Comfortable working within agile methodologies and experienced in estimation and time management

Good problem-solving skills

Effective communication skills.
