The Senior Program Manager will define, implement, train, execute and mature the product development life cycle for commercial launch and growth areas using an iterative, evidence-based approach with pilot activities through enterprise adoption and use.

Responsibilities:

Change Management: Be a change agent to lead significant organizational change and mobilize the organization behind PDLC vision, goals and objectives and owned PDLC methodology areas across the enterprise.

Culture: Provide inspirational leadership and help nurture a cohesive, supportive, and highly effective community of excellence (COE). Adept at building a culture of continuous learning, piloting, adoption and use of recommended best practices and processes.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships and engender trust across the organization e.g., Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Support, Client Experience, Customer Insights, Marketing & Product Management in support of our PDLC transformation efforts.

Evangelizing: Being a spokesperson and evangelist for change and improvement through hands-on engagement, communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

Coaching: You will help others solve problems through asking powerful questions, offering supportive practices, and fostering accountability. Equally important is your ability to draw from your own knowledge and experience to validate or challenge someones narrative. You will serve as a reflective observer, who notices the interactions and reactions of the group, and, without judgment, provides a perspective that they may not have noticed.

Facilitating: Lead prioritized pilot(s) and early adopter programs for the PDLC Framework to establish a gold standard that can be replicated. You will use your excellent planning and facilitation skills in large & small settings including clear and purposeful action plans.

Education / Training: You will contribute to the creation and launch of course development to drive healthy behaviors and continuous learning.

Metrics: You define and use metrics, reports and observations that help surface risks, successes and cross-team patterns of behavior, at an organization, business unit and enterprise level.

Strategic: You will embrace the change management journey and realistically identify, translate and prioritize various work initiatives and comprehensive programs to roll-out owned PDLC methodologies across the enterprise.

Team Player: Lead with a collaborative and coaching mindset with a can do attitude and flexibility to adapt and adjust your level of engagement across the enterprise to help scale the adoption and mastery of our PDLC.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of program and/or product management experience with proven skills & experience at enterprise software & service companies.

  • 8+ years of hands-on and proven experience serving as a change agent to define, implement and scale product development lifecycle methodologies and best practices.

  • 8+ years of experience independently managing multiple complex enterprise program initiatives and completing program milestones in a timely manner.

  • 3+ years of experience in Healthcare IT Software industry (preferred).

  • PMP program management certification (preferred).

Critical Skills:

Demonstrated ability to work as a change agent across organization and functional boundaries to drive engagement, collaboration and action.

Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to set objectives, define work project plans and produce results.

Ability to communicate effectively at mid to senior-executive levels across the enterprise.

Comfortable being hands on and strategic and can partner with cross-functional leaders to implement change management, drive new processes/best practices and achieve desired outcomes.

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent written, verbal, planning, project management, and time management skills.

  • Experience facilitating to both large and small groups, as well as experience coaching team members up through senior management

  • Outcome-oriented self-starter with the proven ability to drive change withspeed and effective buy-in across the enterprise.

  • Healthy sense of humor and positive attitude.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in business, computer science, engineering, health informatics, healthcare, marketing or related field required.
