Senior Legal Counsel - Eclat Human Resources Consulting Limited HND / BA / BSc Job

Responsibilities

Offer expert legal advice and guidance to their clients or employers, helping them navigate complex legal issues.

Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and agreements to ensure that legal terms and conditions are favorable and compliant.

Represent the organization’s clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations, to resolve disputes or defend their interests.

Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating legal risks.

Identify potential legal risks and challenges that the organization may face and develop strategies to address or mitigate them.

Advise on labor and employment matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and handling issues related to employees' rights and grievances.

Protect the organization's intellectual property rights by registering trademarks, copyrights, and patents, and taking action against infringements.

Ensure that the organization follows proper corporate governance practices and complies with regulations governing its structure and operations.

Play a vital role in due diligence, negotiation, and documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Promote and uphold ethical behavior within the organization and ensure compliance with ethical codes and legal obligations.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess a University Degree (minimum of 2.1) in Law (LLB) + B.L Law School Certificate (minimum of 2.1)

4 - 5 years post-call experience practicing litigation law.

Salary

N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
