Senior Accountant Bachelor Degree Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in fast-paced environments.
The role involves managing general accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure proper ledger management and account reconciliations.
Maintain the company’s fixed assets register, including reconciliation and recording of acquisitions and disposals.
Ensure relevant group and local accounting policies are adhered to.
Collaborate with external agencies banks, tax authorities, auditors and other financial institutions
Prepare the annual audit file as per the external audit requirements with detailed listings, schedules and reconciliations.
Processing of fixed assets acquisitions, disposals and reconciliation
Compliance to Internal Control policies & procedures and supporting the Annual Audit processes
Ensure timely month-end closing and reporting of financial statements using the group reporting tool.
Record fixed assets acquisitions and disposals in the ERP system in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Assist in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications

Higher education degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
6+ years of relevant experience.
FMCG experience preferred but not required.
Relevant financial certifications.
Strong accounting background and business acumen.
Excellent proficiency in English.
Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong presentation skills.
