Senior Accountant HND / BA / BSc Job

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Accountant at Somotex Nigeria Limited.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including preparing and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, managing budgets, and analyzing financial data.
This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The Senior Accountant will be based in Lagos, Nigeria and will work on-site.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
Proficiency in using accounting software
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Relevant skills and qualifications

Professional accounting certification (e.g. ACCA, ICAN, CPA)
Experience in the consumer durable products industry
Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations and compliance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
