QA / QC Manager Bachelor Degree Job

Job Purpose

The QA/QC Manager oversees all aspects of quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.

This role involves:

Developing and implementing quality management systems.

Conducting audits and inspections.

Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.

Leading a team of QA/QC professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Designing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Establishing quality control procedures and protocols to monitor and maintain product/service quality throughout the production/service delivery process.

Providing and coordinating required on-the-job training hours. Assisting in the certification of NDT for Level I and Level II inspectors.

Planning and conducting internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulations.

Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate external audits and inspections.

Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality-related data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Preparing reports and presentations summarizing quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement initiatives for management review.

Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformities and prevent recurrence of quality issues.

Establishing quality requirements and specifications for suppliers and vendors.

Conducting supplier/vendor audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.

Providing training and guidance to staff on quality management principles, procedures, and best practices.

Fostering a culture of quality and accountability within the organization through training and awareness programs.

Staying abreast of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.

Ensuring that VACC services meet all applicable regulatory requirements and certifications.

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or other relevant field.

Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control roles, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Strong knowledge of quality management principles, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead teams.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor) is an added advantage.

Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment.

Salary

Manager 2 (Negotiable).
