Project Manager (Telecoms) HND / BA / BSc Job

Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end management of telecom fibre projects, from planning to implementation and completion.Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to achieve project goals.Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that arise.Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and schedules.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.Communicate project updates and milestones to senior management and clients as required.Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5years of experience managing telecom fibre projects.Proven track record of successful project delivery in the telecom industry.Strong understanding of telecom network infrastructure and fibre optic technology.Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and budgeting.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with project management tools and software.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
