Procurement Supervisor- Kinz Global Consult OND / NCE Job

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities

Collaborate with departments to understand their procurement requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly.

Analyze procurement needs, market trends, and vendor capabilities to make informed decisions.

Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for goods and services.

Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable and quality supplies.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract renewals and terminations.

Prepare and review Purchase Order Forms accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Obtain necessary approvals and documentation for procurement transactions.

Coordinate and monitor the delivery of procured products to ensure timely receipt.

Resolve delivery issues and track shipment statuses.

Monitor procurement costs and implement cost-saving measures.

Ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.

Continuously review and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Implement automation and digital solutions to streamline workflows.

Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Conduct due diligence on vendors to mitigate potential risks.

Prepare procurement reports, including spending analysis and vendor performance metrics.

Utilize data-driven insights to optimize procurement strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a procurement professional, preferably in a supervisory or executive role.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Familiarity with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational and time management skills
