​​​​​​​SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
Purchase of products and services in the organization.
Review/ analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
Research new products and services to meet the company’s goals.
Maintain adequate records of all pricing and purchasing of all materials.
Ensure all products and supplies are of good quality.
Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
Determine which commission is appropriate and costeffective.
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 1year postNYSC experience as a procurement department team member.
Good negotiation skills
Analytical thinking
Financial acumen
Attention to detail
Computer literacy
