Presales Engineer - Email API HND / BA / BSc Job

Role Description

The Presales Engineer for Email API is pivotal in supporting the sales team and prospective clients throughout the sales process.
This role involves understanding client requirements, designing tailored solutions using the company's email API products, and demonstrating the value and capabilities of these solutions to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a thorough understanding of the company's email API products, including their features, benefits, and practical applications.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to comprehend customer needs and specifications.
Conduct comprehensive technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
Address technical inquiries and issues raised by customers during the sales process.
Work alongside customers to craft customized solutions that align with their specific requirements using the company's email API products.
Prepare and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications and integration strategies.
Assist customers in developing and executing PoCs to illustrate the feasibility and advantages of proposed solutions.
Provide ongoing technical assistance and guidance throughout the PoC phase.
Collaborate with the sales team to refine and develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
Contribute to the creation of sales materials, such as technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies.
Assist in preparing responses for RFPs/RFIs, focusing on technical content.
Deliver training sessions to internal sales teams and external partners on the company's email API products.
Develop and maintain technical training resources and documentation.
Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to inform future product enhancements and features.
Identify and communicate potential new business opportunities based on customer needs and market insights.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Presales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role, preferably in the SaaS or API industry.
Strong understanding of email protocols, API integrations, and related technologies.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SMTP, IMAP, and related email technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
