Responsibilities

Planning & Design:

Collaborate with engineering teams to plan the fiber network layout.
Conduct site surveys to identify optimal routes for fiber network deployment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local permits

Project Execution:

Supervise the deployment & maintenance of all OSP infrastructure.
Coordinate activities related to installation, splicing, and termination of fiber cables.
Monitor project progress and adjust timelines as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Submit weekly project status reports to reporting managers.
Organize scheduled maintenance activities for network components.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections to verify network infrastructure deployment accuracy and alignment.
Ensure proper grounding and lightning protection of network facilities such as equipment shelters & cabinets.
Troubleshoot network issues promptly and provide effective solutions.

Stakeholder Communication:

Engage with local community champions “Area boys” to ensure minimal disruption to network deployment & maintenance activities

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to engineering standards and market specifications.
Ensure adequate health & safety measures are followed during all deployment & maintenance activities.
