Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Operations Data Analyst to join our team at Dangote Cement Plc. As an Operations Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing operational data and providing valuable insights to optimize our cement operations

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data, and provide recommendations for process improvements.

We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in data analysis but also has excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and performance indicators

Develop and maintain reporting systems to track key metrics and provide actionable insights

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions

Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and quality checks

Present analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis

Perform ad-hoc data analysis requests as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Mathematics, Statistics)

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in an operations environment

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets

Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)

Experience in the cement industry is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
