Nurse (Mosra Enerji Ltd) HND / BA / BSc Job

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nurse

Location: Kogi

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Brief

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery at the work site.

He or She will also be responsible for educating them on prevention and healthy habits.

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision.

He or She will be compassionate and cool-tempered and also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.

The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.

Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians

Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.

Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.

Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according tophysician’s orders.

Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)

Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems

Implement physicians’ orders, perform treatments, start IVs, administer medications, and interpret special tests.

Administer direct care to injured, disabled, ill, or convalescent patients.

Review and maintain medical records.

Implement and develop nursing care plans

Counsel patients and family members on disease prevention and health maintenance.

Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients’ conditions and needs.

Supervise the work of licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, and assistants.

Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans.

Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment.

Qualifications

B.Sc Degree or other Diploma from a Nursing program

5+ years' proven nursing experience

Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

Excellent knowledge of emergency care

In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times

Responsible and compassionate

Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills

Valid nursing licenses

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team

Able to work efficiently under time constraints

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
