Job Title: Maintenance & Facility Manager
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun

Job Summary
The Maintenance & Facility Manager is responsible for coordinating the Facility and Maintenance (People, assets, Facility, Processes, and Systems) to achieve the required standard of machine reliability, availability, and continuous production and also provide specialist and technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Responsibilities
Plant Reliability:
Create maintenance schedules and improve machines’ reliability and availability for production with quality standards, and labor utilization throughout the facility.
Ensure delivery of daily planned output
Deliver according to SOP
Budget and manage manufacturing cost structures by developing and maintaining operational expenses within budget allowance {production, maintenance & energy usage cost per tons to benchmarks, and investigate cost-reduction measures i.e. waste reduction initiatives}
Manage Assets, Processes, and Systems:
Asset register updated
Spare stock levels maintained
Schedule revision audited
Maintenance planning and execution
Liaise with original equipment manufacturers {OEMs} Ensure conformance to specs and SOPs
Ensure maintenance integrity
Optimize process capability
Lead facility and equipment projects
Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing operations of machinery
Support maintenance integrity
Maintenance Records and Report Management:
Ensure records are detailed and updated
Ensure data integrity
Ensure the reporting standards and integrity
Equipment & Cost Management:
Production plant availability & reliability
Asset management indicators {Generators & Machines}
Maintenance cost per yield output to benchmarks
Utilities cost per yield output to benchmarks
Health, Safety, and Environment:
Enforce compliance with PPE policies
Enforce General housekeeping
Identification of unsafe practices
Enforce safety inspections conducted and audited
Enforce safe maintenance practices audited
Enforce compliance with SHEQ {safety health environment & quality} systems requirements
People:
Develop staff on-the-job technical skills
Execute planned job rotation
Create alternates for all critical roles
Build team spirit
Manage Staff Performance
Give weekly/monthly staff feedback
Document /or follow SOP/ Recipe
Requirements
HND / B.Sc Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing industry on similar role
Leadership and teamwork
Crisis management
Knowledge of plant operations & maintenance management and reporting
Maintenance management systems & standards.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Understanding of the principles and practices of The TPM {Total productive management}
