Job Description

The Logistics Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials within an organization.
This role involves coordinating and managing various aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
The Logistics Manager is responsible for optimizing processes to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure seamless flow of goods throughout the supply chain.
Manage transportation activities, the company’s fleet of vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and availability.
Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and tracking inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of logistics activities with overall business objectives.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing for transportation and logistics services.
Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

A Bachelor Degree in Logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Logistics Manager.
Proven experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholder.
Knowledge of regulatory requirement and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong business acumen with a focus on driving result and achieving operational excellence.
