Legal and Compliance Associate-Black Diamond Engineering Limited Relevant Educational Qualifications Job

Responsibilities

Provide general legal advisory

Responsible for drafting, reviewing contracts and relative documents for new and ongoing business transactions to protect the business legal right.

Advising the business on general business law issues, financial matters including but not limited to corporate matters, safety, security, insurance, employee’s relation, and sustainability issues.

Ethics and compliance and governance services

To anticipate and manage the (Legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations.

Provide accurate and timely counsel to the business in a variety of areas (Labor Law, corporate finance, building construction etc).

Undertake statutory fillings for clients at various regulatory bodies E.g. Including but not limited to CAC, LABSCA, FIRS, etc.

Draft agreement, contract, and other legal documents.

Provide legal consultations to all departments/units where necessary and ensure the company’s interest is well protected.

Serve as custodian of all Company service level agreement and other related document (make it more robust).

Responsible for all C.A.C legal compliance issues ensuring proper filling of annual returns and giving necessary notifications to the Corporate Affairs Commission.
