Salary: $44,000 annually

To ensure our associates receive the training and support needed to excel and thrive, associates hired for this position are generally required to work at the GEICO building during their orientation period. The safety of our associates, both current and future, is GEICOs highest priority, and we have implemented rigorous safety measures and policies to ensure our associates are protected. These safety protocols include:

  • Temperature screening when entering the building
  • Daily health survey
  • Social distancing measures
  • Required mask wearing in common areas
  • CDC approved disinfectant usage and increased cleaning measures

GEICO is looking for bright and driven future leadersto join our accelerated Leadership Development Program in the Centralized Services career track. In this management trainee program, you'll spend 1-1.5 years* learning about one of four unique insurance operations: Glass Claims, Accident Tow, Emergency Roadside Service or Salvage Total Loss Claims.The goal of this entry-level, fast-track management training program is to develop future business leaders to help us continue on our path of steady growth, profitability and success. As a management trainee, you will learn what makes GEICO the fastest growing auto insurer in the U.S. and the choice of more than 19 million customers.

As a management trainee, in the Leadership Development Program, you will learn about what makes GEICO the fastest growing auto insurer in the U.S. and the choice of more than 19 million customers. You will be provided with a solid foundation for leading a team within our Centralized Services department.

In this development program, you will:

  • Attend industry-leading training and pass necessary insurance exams

  • Gain hands-on experience doing the job you'll one day supervise

  • Work on projects that are critical to the department's success

  • Receive mentoring from management

  • Work to meet goals and achieve top results

  • Coach associates and assist in their career development

  • Attend management preparation classes toward the end of your program

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • At least a 2.5 cumulative undergraduate GPA

  • Demonstrated leadership experience on campus, within the community and/or at work

  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills

  • Solid computer, analytical and problem-solving skills
