IT Technical Support Officer (Junior Role) OND / NCE Job

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software

Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically

Log bugs and enhancement requests

Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company

Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed

Monitor various running applications both onsite and remote

Work in shift (day / night) with other team members including weekends

Monitor and report appropriately all runin applications

Provide second-level support to clients

Monitor, log and manage power sources

Qualifications

Candidates should possess an OND / HND / BSc in any relevant field

Previous work experience in IT support for minimum of 1 year

Excellent customer service skills

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

In depth knowlegde of Windows Server, Windows 10, Linux (Ubuntu), Email Clients / Service etc.

Required Skills:

Ability to install operating systems (windows & Linux)

Ability to administer Windows and Linux Servers (added advantage)

Ability to setup and manage LAN and Wireless network

Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware issues

Ability to perform various application and database backups
