IT Officer HND / BA / BSc Job

Job Responsibilities

Provide 1st line support for local and remote end-users, resolving IT related technical issues and providing support for users.
Able to talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
Skilled in maintenance and repairs of PCs and perform periodic (and preventive) maintenance on them.
Support branches during downtimes, and promptly escalating the problem while initiating procedures to ensure business continuity.
Have a good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.
Ensure that incidents are logged and tracked using formal documentation.
Able to handle installation and configuration of computer hardware and operating systems, and applications.
Able to implement all aspects of Echo-Scan’s IT security and ensure compliance with Data Protection Regulations.

Requirements

First Degree in Computer Science or related field
2 - 5 years’ experience in similar job role
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills and experience with IT software
Professional demeanor and competent problem solver.
