Job Details

The key purpose of this role is to follow and complete all governance processes and documentation, to ensure that any and all physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP. Assist with primary and secondary distribution activities as required.Key roles and responsibilities:

Facilitate daily and monthly physical inventory countConduct stock count according to company standards and proceduresEnsure that hand held used in the stock process are set up correctly and maintained accordinglyStock ManagementAdhere to all physical pre stock take proceduresPrint and action pre stock take reportsProcess all stock adjustments prior to starting stock take, include sorted containersStart stock take on SAP and upload physical stock count from stock take systemPrint stock variance report and investigate all variancesPost all authorised unresolved variances dailyEnd stock take on SAP and print relevant posting and audit reportsCompile daily stock pack and have pack signed off by relevant partiesConduct ad hoc stock counts for unresolved variancesFacilitate daily and monthly physical inventory countConduct stock count according to company standards and procedureEnsure missing broken and foreign survey sheet captured dailyCommunicate missing foreign and broken for follow up with customersCharge depots/drivers for shortagesEnsure that handheld used in the stock process are set up correctly and maintained accordinglyStock ManagementAdhere to all physical pre stock take proceduresPrint and action pre stock take reportsProcess all stock adjustments prior to starting stock take, including sorted containersStart stock take on SAP and upload physical stock count from stock take systemPrint stock variance report and investigate all variancesPost all authorised unresolved variances dailyEnd stock take on SAP and print relevant posting and audit reportsCompile daily stock pack and have pack signed off by relevant partiesConduct ad hoc stock counts for unresolved variancesCheck that route settlement corrections have been processed correctlyClear SAP open cyclesReconcile diesel/gas stock weekly and order as requiredRecharge diesel /gas monthlyUpdate relevant visual districtsSD ShipmentsEnsure that all post goods issues have been processed for all deliveries and driver correctionsAll proof of delivery notes has been checked and accounted forCheck and sign off missing and unsigned invoice register dailyEnsure that all daily load plans and distribution gate registers have been checked and are on fileAssist with resolving and correcting invoice queriesPD ShipmentsEnsure that all post goods issues have been processedCheck that no deliveries have been post goods issues without shipmentsEnsure that all inter depot movement notes have been checked againstinter depot gate register and filedFollow up all inter depot in transit shipments if not receivedInter depot claims must be logged in accordance to claim procedureConfirm inter depot movements with Breweries on a monthly basisMaintain product quality standardsEnsure FIFO principle is applied to stock movements by printing bin pulling sheets for warehouseDrive compliance Adherence to stock age policy, ensure that all concessions are raised and approvedAdherence to product recall policyEnsure Frozen stock must be physically isolated on floor and moved to the blocked stock zone on SAP to stop orders from being placed against stock and to reflect the correct days of coverMonitor outer packaging qualityMissing broken and foreign reportingEnsure missing broken and foreign surveys are conducted according to policy
