Job Description

Good knowledge about diagnosing and repairing any issues related to hydraulic systems.

Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting components such as pumps, motors, valves, and hydraulic cylinders.

Responsible to do activities/ progress as per maintenance criteria/parameters, instruction, and training experience in line with PM, and PI, on daily basis.

Ensure timely execution of job with quality and identify the abnormality of equipment at the time.

Responsible for day-by-day shift Logbook maintenance, Keeping records of detailed work during the shift.

Reduce downtime of all equipment to increase equipment availability for better productivity.

Responsible for Checking oil and pressure to maintain hydraulic power pack to avoid furnace failures.

Usage of Optimum Spares & Controlling Inventory

Follow the safety rules and regulations for Zero accidents.

Carry out any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

To maintain proper housekeeping and keep dust free all the machinery and equipment.

Manpower planning and engagement of shift manpower.

Requirements

8 -10 yrs. Work experience experience in a Steel Melting Shop and Rolling mill.

Experience in SMS /CCM and Rolling mill hydraulic equipment.
