Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Officer to manage and maintain accurate patient records, ensure data security, and support healthcare decision-making. The ideal candidate will oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of health information to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, process, and manage patient health records in compliance with medical and legal standards.
Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and proper storage of health information.
Analyze health data for reporting and decision-making.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve record-keeping and data management processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant health regulations and standards, including NHMIS (National Health Management Information System).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, or a related field.
Certification from the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and medical coding systems.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

These are all supported by the latest technology, provided by giants in the various fields - the MRI is from GE, the CT scanner from Toshiba, the endoscopes from Olympus and Storz, and there is much more from Huntleigh, Datex, Bronelon, Penlon, Newport, Air-Shield and so on.
