Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for supervision of the teams across the West African Region; Understanding the relevant tax laws and ensuring the Business is fully compliant in the respective jurisdictions.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Ensuring monthly returns to the relevant tax offices consisting of but not limited to -VAT, WHT, PAYE are made as and when due.

Identifying tax leakages and advising on solutions.

Ensuring tax efficiency across the region.

Ensure prompt responses to various tax audits;

Reviewing monthly tax computation for various subsidiaries in the region and ensuring timely computations

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

Qualification/Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting

8 - 10 years relevant experience

Professional qualification in accounting preferably ACCA/ICAN

Member of CITN

MBA would be an added advantage

Knowledge of relevant IFRSs.

Problem Solving

Relationship Management with various tax stations both local and federal.
