Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the overall strategy for the private wealth management division.
Identify growth opportunities and set targets for client acquisition and retention.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of wealth managers and support staff.
Set performance goals and monitor team achievements.
Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients.
Oversee the delivery of personalized financial advice and solutions.
Conduct regular portfolio reviews and performance assessments.
Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base and increase assets under management.
Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities for financial products and services.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and take corrective actions as needed.
Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Monitor and manage risks associated with client portfolios.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Market Analysis and Insights:
Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments.
Provide insights and recommendations to clients and the team based on market analysis.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in wealth management or private banking, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
Experience in client-facing roles within sectors like law firms, hospitality etc. that involves managing HNIs or UHNIs.
Experience in managing a team and driving team performance
Experience in a leadership or senior management role is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
