JOB TITLE:Guest Service Door Host Moonbeam and Snowsports Area

DIVISION: Mountain Operations

REPORTS TO: Guest Services Manager

LOCATION: Solitude Mountain

CLASSIFICATION: Part Time / Full Time / Seasonal / Hourly

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Your main goal is to keep guests physically distanced while inside your assigned building. You may be assigned to the main door of the Snowsports building on the ground level facing the parking lot or the main door of the Moonbeam building on the ground level facing the parking lot. As a door host, you must be diligent about guests wearing a mask to get into the building and monitoring every purpose for someone entering the building. Space constraints will vary depending on the building you are monitoring so you must be aware of the maximum number of guests for each area and the enter and exit flow for your area.

General Job Duties:

  • Set up outside your assigned door to control guest traffic into the building.
  • Rope off the front entrance with the line control system rope stands and set up your table behind the rope line.
  • Ask each guest what their need is inside the building. Be friendly and patient with each guest request.
  • Answer guest questions including parking and locker questions.
  • At the end of the day, take the table, rope stands, masks, and trail maps into the assigned storage location for your building.
  • Be sure to stock up on all the items for the next day.

Moonbeam Guidance

  • Moonbeam lower entrance restroom capacity is 3 women and 3 men at one time.
  • Remember to direct guests to the overflow restrooms in the Handicap section of the parking lot opposite the entrance to the Snow Sports
  • Only 3 guests at one time may enter the Moonbeam lower entrance who require indoor ticket window assistance.
  • Guests who ask about ski/snowboard rentals at the Moonbeam lower entrance
    • Ask the guest if they have reserved their equipment
      • If the guest has reserved their equipment online, refer them to the rental shop door monitor just outside the rental shop.
      • If they have not reserved their gear, they must scan the QR code to reserve before entering the building. They can then scan the next QR code to get into the queue for an appointment to enter the rental shop.
  • One way in, one way out scenario for this building so it will be much easier to keep track of guest flow.

Snowsports Guidance

  • Snowsports lower entrance restroom capacity is 8 women and 8 men at one time.
  • Remember direct guests to the overflow restrooms in the Handicap section of the parking lot opposite the entrance to the Snow Sports.
  • Guests asking to store their gear in the locker area at the Snowsports building may only store those bags in a locker and not on the floor. Only 6 people in that area at a time.
