Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front End Development Instructor to join our team.

As a Front End Development Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring web developers by imparting your expertise and knowledge.

You will inspire, educate, and mentor students to become proficient front-end developers.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development: Develop and update curriculum for front end development courses, ensuring it remains up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, hands-on workshops, and assignments to students, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and other relevant topics.

Mentorship: Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and improve their skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven professional experience as a Front End Developer.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.

Passion for learning and a desire to help others succeed in the tech industry.

Patience and empathy for students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.

Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Knowledge of configuration management as well as practical client-side building

Excellent knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Mercuria SVN, and Git

Ability to use essential graphical tools, such as Photoshop and GIMP, to make changes to visuals

Excellent knowledge of cross-browser compatibility

Good understanding of partial page updates, AJAX, and asynchronous request handling

Knowledge of SEO principles leading to application adherence

Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and with members of a dedicated team.
