Description

We are seeking a Fleet Manager for a Realties and Construction industry client.

As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the fleet, procurement and maintenance of vehicles and ensuring the prompt renewal of services/maintenance contracts on office equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) physical checks on all equipment and vehicles.

Ensure immediate elimination of faults reported.

Carry out preventive checks, inspections and repairs to avoid downtime.

Educate users on proper usage and handling of equipment in their care.

Ensure that the organization's machines and equipment always perform optimally to enhance effective and efficient service delivery.

Ensure professionally qualified personnel of the vendors handle and maintain sensitive machines to avoid breakdowns and work stoppages.

Responsible for general fleet and logistic administration and services provider co-ordination

Responsible for proper planning, monitoring, inspection and necessary preparation for major repairs/overhauls and projects

Preparation of periodic reports on expenditures/budget.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Proven experience (Minimum of 3 years) in fleet management or a similar operations role.

Experience managing budget

Good Facilities management experience

Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to addressing challenges

Strong leadership and team management skills.
