In your role as Financial Project Manager you will be responsible for the local commercial and financial execution of long-term maintenance contracts for large gas turbines in Côte d’Ivoire and neighbouring countries. You will be doing this in close cooperation with the Project Manager.
Your focus areas will be cost controlling, reporting, risk, claim and cash management. In this role you will be in direct contact with the customer as well as a large variety of internal departments like supply chain management, insurance, tax, legal and logistics.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Ensure the accuracy of books and record and support the monthly closing, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP, Project Dash - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local IFRS
Ensure all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
Support the Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
Support commercial sales for local services and local share for complex LTP´s and fleet management contracts
Gather and consolidate budget data and monitors Actual vs. Plans comparisons.
Pursue schedules for budget, forecast or KPI reporting, and corresponds with accountable line management.
Compile data and information to report, to support Professionals and Controlling Management.
Perform risk and claim management
May carry out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations.
Perform the commercial preparation of offers to customers.
What You Bring
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
Proven Financial Project Management experience 2-5 years
Knowledge of IFRS and Ivorian accounting regulations
Fluently communicates with both team members and management during the project lifecycle.
Build and work with cross-functional/ international teams (HUB, Headquarters, etc.)
Skills: analysis ability, accuracy, good communication and interaction ability with both internal and external stakeholders
Tools: Proficiency in Excel, experience with ERP (ideally SAP)
Languages: Perfect command of French and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Familiar with rules and regulations – Compliance, ECC, NCM, RIC
