Introduction


We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join Brass, a dynamic fintech company revolutionizing how businesses manage their financial operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, treasury management, tax compliance, and internal controls.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of the company by managing financial transactions, optimizing cash flow, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fintech or banking, with deep expertise in accounting, and a passion for contributing to the development of innovative financial products and tools.


Key Responsibilities


Accounting: Oversee all aspects of accounting including bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
Treasury: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity to support business operations and growth. Tax Remittance and Penalties: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage tax filings, and handle any associated penalties or issues.
Internal Control: Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Financial Planning and
Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.


Requirements

Qualities We're Looking For:


Fintech/Banking Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in the fintech and/or banking industry, with an understanding of how financial tools and technology can drive business success.
Strong Accounting Skills: Deep knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a track record of managing complex financial operations.
Detail-Oriented: A passion for getting into the weeds and ensuring every detail is addressed, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Product Minded: Experience or interest in contributing to the development of financial products and tools. Ability to collaborate with product teams to design and enhance financial solutions.
