Job Description

As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and planning.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis:

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports to support decision-making processes.

Conduct variance analysis and identify key financial drivers.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain and logistics projects.

Collaborate with project managers to align financial plans with operational objectives.

Cost Analysis:

Analyze costs associated with transportation, warehousing, and other logistics functions.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

Vendor Management:

Support the finance team in managing vendor relationships and evaluating financial performance.

Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.

Data Analysis:

Analyze financial data using Excel and other tools to derive meaningful insights.

Present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department.

Work with team members to implement enhancements to financial workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related course

6 months -1 year previous experience in Acounting

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to the finance function within the supply chain and logistics industry.
