Field Worker-The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) HND / BA / BSc Job

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Recruitment Type: STS- National (6-months renewable contract)

Duration: 6 months’ renewable

Duties

Prepare and distribute seeds to partners.

Participate in research data collection, entry and processing.

Assist in general field maintenance and post-harvest processing.

Maintain working areas in a clean and organized manner.

Support in post-harvest operations and collection of rice samples.

Keep proper records of harvested breeding materials

Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.

Qualification

O’level with a minimum of two (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate must:

Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).

Ability to use basic Microsoft software (word, excel, PowerPoint).

Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
