Field Worker Seed OND / NCE Job

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job type: Contract

Duration: 1-year renewable contract

Duties

Assist with routine field maintenance and data collection in Musa breeding plots and trials.

Assist with pollination, harvesting of pollinated bunches and seed extraction.

Maintenance of plants in the screen houses & propagators and ensure general upkeep of research facilities.

Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications:

O’level with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate must:

Have excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

Be trustworthy and diligent to work with little or no supervision.

Pay attention to detail combined with good self-motivation and self-organizational skills.

Have a positive attitude and strong team spirit.
