Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our team in Okebola, Ibadan. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
You will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable
Process daily financial transactions (receipts, payments, etc.)
Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support management decisions
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
Proven knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Excel...)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
