Auburn University invites applications for the position of Executive Assistant-Business Manager for the School of Nursing. This position is an administrative-professional position reporting to the Dean of the School of Nursing.

This position will assist the Dean in overseeing human resources, facilities, and other management areas, as well as related policy compliance for the School. The position will work closely with the financial aspects such as budgetary and financial initiatives. Will also serve as the primary liaison with the university's human resources, facilities division and other offices related to the business administration of the School.

Essential Functions

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide professional budgeting support and managerial expertise for the School of Nursing including human resources, payroll, purchasing, facility management and special initiatives.
- Manage the business operations and related policy compliance for the School and advising the Dean. Prepares reports and presentation as required.
- Coordinate human resources and staffing activities and related policy compliance for the School and serve as the primary liaison to the Human Resources Office.
- Provide guidance to the Dean regarding administrative and human resource policies and procedures.
- Oversees payroll processes.
- Coordinate and manage clinical affiliation agreements for all programs within the School working with other offices on campus to ensure compliance.
- Develop office procedures and implement administrative process changes for the School.
- Complete annual surveys for program compliance and accreditation.
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Perform other duties related to the School as directed.

- Knowledge of Auburn University's internal systems and business operations, including university policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written, as well as the ability to work both independently and with a diverse population of internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

- A degree from a four-year college in business administration or related major.
- Experience in financial management, business operations and human resources.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook e-mail/calendar, Word, Excel, Teams), Zoom, Banner Admin/Self Service, Kronos and PeopleAdmin.
- Experience with Human Resource processes such as personnel action forms, time entry, job family promotions, reclassifications, annual performance reviews, employment job postings ( TTF , NTTF , A/P, Staff, TES , Graduate Assistants, Graduate/Undergraduate Student Workers, Z-jobs, etc.) and associated employment paperwork and payroll processing.
- Proven skill in planning and administration and the ability to analyze critical elements of School's operations.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and supervising employees.

Salary Grade 33

Salary Range $39,300 - $65,500
