Responsibilities

afely operate a school bus, following established routes and schedules.

Ensure the safety of students while embarking and disembarking from the bus.

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

Conduct bus inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.

Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, including sweeping and sanitizing as needed.

Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly to the Transportation Manager.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Enforce student behavior and discipline policies while on the bus.

Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the school district.

Participate in emergency evacuation drills and procedures.

Qualifications
