SUMMARY

Assist engineers and designers with design tasks to ensure the smooth flow of operations within the engineering department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with engineering drawing, layout and/or electrical schematic preparation using computer aided design software. Assist with Bill of Material creation. Assist with the material selection for engineered parts. Assist with the creation of dimension and tolerance drawings to ensure proper assembly fit. Conforms to drafting standards and department policies. Assist with engineering change notice preparation.

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student working towards an Associate's degree for entire duration of internship.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Experience with CATIA or other CAD design software
