Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and/or passengers to their destinations in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers

Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe and smooth journey

Plan routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines

Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from passengers or clients

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dress code

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

High school, diploma or equivalent

Proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role

Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, if required

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a delivery or transportation role

Familiarity with local roads and routes

Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
