We are currently seeking a Contract Procurements Associate who will report to the Manager of Procurements. This role will work within our procurements system to obtain quotes from vendors, process orders, and assist end users. The procurements team works closely with IT, Finance, HR and other Macmillan departments. Good communication skills, an ability to multi-task, and a proclivity for teamwork are essential.
This is a contracted position. The successful candidates will be employed through Headway Workforce Solutions LLC.
- General assistance to the Procurement Manager
- Process orders within the procurement system
- Obtain quotes from vendors
- Assist end users
- Liaise with IT, Finance, HR and other Macmillan departments
- Knowledge of procurement processes
- Ability to be detailed-oriented
- Strong customer service skills
- IT knowledge - software and hardware
- Proficiency in Google suite and/or Microsoft suite
- Previous procurement environment ideal but not required
